Jayasurya, Kuchacko, Kavya in 'Kilukkam' sequel

‘Kilukilukkam’, the sequel of ‘Kilukkam’, Priyadarshan-Mohanlal-Jagathy combination’s unsurpassed hit will showcase Jayasurya in the lead role. Sandhya Mohan has got the approval from Priyadarshan to direct the sequel.

Apart from Jayasurya, Kunchako Boban and Kava Madhavan will act along with the ace comedian Jagathy Sreekumar. Mohanlal is appearing in a cameo role.

It was Mohanlal and Jagathy took the film to a bumper hit with their sensible comedies. Keralites will never forget Joji and Nischal played by this pair. Priyadarshan was to direct the film but all of a sudden plans have changed and Sandhya Mohan took over. This time the star cast shifts to young generations.

Sibi.K.Thomas-Udaykrishnan team will write the script and K.Ananthakuttan cranks the camera. Deepak Dev is with the music for Kaithpram’s lyrics. Backwaters will produce and Shogun will bring this to the theatre.

Jayasurya’s last release was Rajasenan’s ‘Immini Nalloral’ and that bombed terribly at the box office. After that there was no further projects with him except the Tamil film ‘Manidan’ opposite Meena.
