Jose Prakash turns 86

Cochin, Apr.15 (NR): Renowned actor Jose Prakash, who has earned for himself a permanent place in the audience hearts, turned 86 today.

Jose Prakash was an actor who gave a new life to the concept of villainy in Malayalam films. Hemade his debut through the film 'Shariyo Thetto' in 1953.

Ever since he has acted in several films as a hardcore villain. For the past several years, he has not been acting in films. Now, with age having caught up with him, he has been leading a quite life at Cochin.

Its quite ironic that very few awards have come the actor's way, even after an illustrious career. But its sure that film lovers in the state will always hold a special place in their hearts for this charming villain.
