K. Madhu plans a sequel to 'Crime File''

Dec 7, 2008 NR

K. Madhu, who made many investigative films, is reportedly planning a sequel to Crime File, which he had directed some years back. The Suresh Gopi-starrer was inspired by the real-life Sister Abhaya murder case.

Now that the CBI has finally apprehended certain people accused of being behind the murder of Sister Abhaya, K. Madhu seems to be thinking of coming up with a sequel, if reports are to be believed.

The sequel is likely to be scripted by A.K. Sajan, who had last teamed up with K. Madhu in Nadiya Kollappetta Rathri. The sequel, Convent, is in its discussion stage and details regarding the cast and other things are yet to be worked out. Confirmation about the venture is yet to be got from the director's side too.
