Kamalahassans scripts published in Malayalam

Kamalhassan, who needs no introduction, recently made news in Kerala when the script of two of his very noted films Hey! Ram and Mahanadi got published in Malayalam. The scripts, published by DC Books, have been translated into Malayalam by Viswanathan. It was released during the inaugural ceremony of a ten-day long book-fest at the Chandrashekharan Nair Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram on October 28. The first copy was handed over by noted Malayalam writer T. Padmanabhan to sculptor and painter M.V. Devan in the presence of several dignitaries including Kamalhassan himself.

It should be remembered that the book gets published just prior to the release of Kamalhassan's Dashavathaaram, which incidentally, is yet to get a distributor in Kerala. Another irony with the release is the fact that the book comprises of the scripts of two of Kamal's film which, in spite of having been well-made, were not well received in Kerala. Anyway, here's wishing Kamal and his Dashavathaaram the very best. And that goes for the book too!
