Kangaroo: Raj Babu's next
Jun 14, 2007 NRDirector Raj Babu, who had last made Chess and before that Chief Minister K.R. Gowthami under the name Baburaaj, is all set to do his next film titled Kangaroo. To be scripted by J. Pallasserry based on story by Anil Raj, Kangaroo has Prithviraj and Jayasurya playing the lead roles. The film also has popular stars including Jagathy Sreekumar, Laloo Aalex, Cochin Haneefa, Harisri Ashokan, Salim Kumar, KPAC Lalitha, Bindu Panicker etc.
To be produced under the banner of Isabella Movietone, the film will feature cinematography by Saloo George, and will be brought to the theatres by Lal Release. Kangaroo will start rolling by the end of July at Mundakkayam. The film, which is intended to be a family entertainer, tells the story of a young man who by chance has to protect a one-and-a-half year old child just as a Kangaroo protects its little ones. Humour of course would have a prominent note in the film.
