Kapil Dev with Mohd. Hafiz in Kaithapram's film

Cochin, Nov.7 (NR): 'Mazhavillinapurathekku' to be directed by Kaithapram would have Pakistan opening batsman Mohd. Hafiz doing the lead role along with Kapil Dev.

Bollywood actor Suneil Shetty would also play a key role in the film.

Initially Pak fast bowler Mohd. Asif was approached to do the main role in the film. However later Kaithapram decided to go a for an actor change.

The film would have two heroines; debutante Krishna along with Archana Kavi. Nedumudi, Mamukkoya, Anoop Chandran, Suraj and Siddiq would lend support.

The shoot of the film would start on the 24th of this month at Valluvankadavu in Kannur.
