Kavya Heading for a Divorce?

The latest news that has been doing the rounds for the past few days in Malayalam filmdom and the vernacular press is that actress Kavya Madhavan, who got married roughly six months back to Kuwait based Techie and actor Nishal Chandra, is heading for a divorce. News has spread that a rift has occurred between Kavya and Nishal and that Kavya, who was staying with Nishal and her in-laws in Kuwait, has left them and has come back to her parents in Kochi.

Reports say that Kavya was ill-treated by her husband and in-laws, who wanted her to transfer her assets including the money in her bank account to Nishal's name. They also reportedly wanted her to continue acting, while she and Nishal had decided that she'd quit acting after marriage. At the same time, there are reports coming from the other side that all this is baseless and that there are no such issues at all.

Kavya hasn't yet commented on the issue and is remaining out of reach of the media' Her father in the mean time has told the press that though there are some problems between Kavya and Nishal, they are just minor ones as is usual in any marriage and would be sorted out soon. There are also reports that Kavya's family has sought legal help and are likely to file for divorce. As of now however, nothing is confirmed.
