Kavya Madhavan as playback singer

Kavya’s long cherished dream has been fulfilled when she sang her first song for the movie ‘Matinee’ directed by Anish Upasana. The melody is tuned by Ratheesh Vega.

“Maunamayi... Manasil neerum ilaveyil mazhayai… virahardrayai… the touching lines are penned by Din Nath Puthencherry, son of Girish Puthencherry.

Kavya who has brought out her music album, titled ‘Kavyadalangal’, a few months back has thoroughly enjoyed this new line in her career. Ratheesh Vega was pleased with the sincere attempt made by Kavya and said that she had sung well. He adds that this single melodious song will add a feather to Din Nath’s hat.

‘Matinee’ stars Maqbool Salman and Mythili in the lead roles.
