Kavya was happy in Kuwait: Nishal's family

Cochin, Nov.3 (NR): Nishal Chandra's family that had maintained a silence till now, about the break-up between Kavya Madhavan and Nishal, has chosen to open their minds to the press for the first time.

Speaking to a prominent Malayalam daily, Nishal's brother Deepak said that Kavya was very happy in Kuwait. She had even booked the return tickets to Kuwait, when she came to Kerala in connection with the release of 'Ee Pattanathil Bhootham'.

Deepak also said that the stories circulating around regarding Nishal's family were absolutely untrue. Contrary to reports in the media that Nishal's family was facing a dire economic crisis, Deepak said that they had no such problems and that they had been long settled in Kuwait.

Deepak also admitted that he was much pained by certain false reports that he himself was divorced. Deepak, who is a doctor, stays with his wife in Qatar. The couple has a daughter.
