Kochi, Sep 5 (IANS) Onam releases like "Naivedyam" and "Alibhai" are dominating the Malayalam music chart this fortnight.

The top five Malayalam albums are:

1. "Kolakuzhal" - Film: "Naivedyam"; Music: M. Jayachandran; Lyrics: Lohithadas; Singers: Vijay Yesudas and Swetha. Director Lohithadas has penned the lyric himself for the song to ensure it suits the film's mood.

2. "Adimegha" - Film: "Alibhai"; Music: Alex Paul; Lyrics: Gireesh Puthencherry; Singer: M.G. Sreekumar. A song of this kind in M.G. Sreekumar's voice is believed to be lucky for a Mohanlal starrer.

3. "Thirike" - Film: "Arabikatha"; Music: Bijibal; Lyrics: Anil Panachooran; Singer: Yesudas. The nostalgia in the song holds the listener's attention.

4. "Kadukkittu" - Film: "Hello"; Music: Alex Paul: Lyrics: Sarath Varma: Singers: M.G. Sreekumar and Sangeetha Prabhu. Mohanlal's film may have slipped out of top five lists, but the song still continues to rock the chart.

5. "Thamthakida" - Film: "Naivedyam"; Music: M. Jayachandran; Lyrics: C.J. Kuttappan. The song proves that the new hero Vinumohan is capable of doing an Adi Poli dance!
