Kozhikode Santhadevi admitted to the ICU

Kozhikode, Sep.24 (NR): Veteran actress Kozhikode Santhadevi was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of the MIMS Hospital after having fallen sick today.

Santhadevi suffers from kidney ailments, and was recently in the news for having been left alone by her children.

The actress who was left with none to care for, has been under the protection of the district government for the past one month.

She has received the National Award for th Best Supporting Actress and was last seen in 'Bridge' directed by Anwar Rasheed, that was a much acclaimed film among the ten short films that made up the anthology 'Kerala Cafe'.
