Lal Jose to team up with Mohanlal ?

Reports are rife that director Lal Jose, who is one of the most sought after directors in Malayalam Cinema today, and actor Mohanlal are to come together for the first time, in the next year. The film, to be titled Cousins, will be produced by Gopan under the banner of Bhagyachitra Films Pvt. Ltd and if reports are to be believed, has something else too in store for film lovers - some big news.

It is heard that it would be Prithviraj who would be doing the other key role in the film. This definitely is big news since Prithviraj has never acted along with any of the superstars and is believed to be at loggerheads with them. Anyhow the film, which will feature three leading ladies, will most likely start rolling by August 2008 and will find its way to the theatres by Christmas next. Since it is a Lal Jose film, let's hope that it really takes place, for it would mark a new beginning for Malayalam Cinema as a whole.
