Lal regrets not being able to act in a Mani Ratnam film

Cochin, July.12 (NR): It is not every day that an actor is offered a role in a Mani Ratnam film, and actor - director Lal was on cloud nine when the Tamil director offered him a role in his new film 'Kadal'.

However, we later heard the news that Lal would not be a part of 'Kadal', which came as a shock. The reason why Lal couldn't be a part of the project was because he was acting in the Madhupal film 'Ozhimuri' at the time.

Lal sports a very special look in 'Ozhimuri', one that has already become a hot topic of discussion in the industry. However, it was impossible for Lal to accept Mani Ratnam's offer, and hence had to give up his wish of collaborating with the great director. Better luck next time, Lal!
