Machan Varghese is no more!

Calicut, Jan.3 (NR): Renowned comedian Machan Varghese is no more. He passed away today at a private hospital at Kozhikode at 4.30 in the evening. He was 47.

The actor was under treatment for cancer for some time now. An infection in the chest was what led to his demise.

Machan Varghese came into the industry with 'Mannar Mathai Speaking'. He was affectionately called Machan by friends and colleagues.

Machan was last seen on screen in M A Nishad's 'Best of Luck'. He is survived by his wife and two sons.
