Major Ravi again with Major Mahadevan

Major Ravi, who delivered a major hit with Keerthichakra and then a major flop with Mission 90 Days, is all set to give us more of Major Mahadevan.

Major Mahadevan was the character that Mohanlal played in Keerthichakra. And now, in Major Ravi's forthcoming film Kargil, it's Mohanlal once again who plays the lead role, that of Major Mahadevan of course. The film has the Kargil war as the backdrop and if reports are to be believed, the Major is all set to dispel many of the wrong notions that we have been harbouring about that major skirmish. The script is reportedly in its final stage and the shoot could start off in a few months.

Kargil, to be shot in India, Pakistan and Dubai, is likely to be made at a big budget - a whopping eight crores - big indeed for a Malayalam movie. Here is hoping that the Major, who had a very eventful stint with the Indian army, would give us the true picture of what really happened up in those mountains. In the mean time, more details about Kargil are awaited.
