Mammootty & Ashiq Abu come together for 'The Gangster'

Cochin, Apr.27 (NR):Ashiq Abu's directorial debut 'Daddy Cool' was one of the most stylish Malayalam films to have hit the screen last year.

The film that told the story of a dad and son was however only a moderate success at the box office.

However now the director and lead actor of 'Daddy Cool' have decided to come together for a new project. Titled 'The Gangster', the film would tell yet another story based on the underworld.

The script writers of the film are new comers, and the film is likely to be shot in Malayalam and Tamil simultaneously.

The rest of the cast and crew are being finalized.
