Kochi, April 21 (IANS) Mammootty and Mohanlal, Malayalam cinema's evergreen heroes, have bolstered their position in the box office more than ever with "Thommanum Makkalum" and "Udayananu Tharam" respectively.

The Vishu season has meanwhile added two newcomers - Dileep's "Kochi Rajavu" and "Albhuthadweep" based on the English classic "Gulliver's Travels".

1. "Thommanum Makkalum": The success of this film has proved that Mammootty is not averse to acquiring new skills. Though 50-plus, his dancing and comedy in this film are widely raved about.

2. "Udayananu Tharam": This film simply refuses to budge from this list. The Mohanlal-starrer is giving jitters to the producers of other Vishu films, as its box-office collections show no signs of dipping.

3. "Albhuthadweep": Inspired by "Gulliver's Travels", the film directed by Vinayan has enthralled young audiences during vacation time.

4. "Achuvinte Amma": Urvasi and Meera Jasmine continue to have a rocking time at the box-office with this film directed by Sathyan Anthikad.

5. "Kochi Rajavu": A lot depends on this film for Dileep, who has hit a rough patch in his career. The coming weeks will decide the outcome of this film directed by Johny Antony.
