Mammootty makes 'Raapakal' Malayalam topper

Kochi, July 3 (IANS) Mammootty retains his position at the top with a new Malayalam release "Raapakal".
The top five Malayalam films:
"Raapakal": Veteran director Kamal has made a true-blue family entertainer with megastar Mammootty. This film also stars veteran actress Sarada as the mother. Nayanthara is the leading lady.
"Police": This Hollywood-inspired movie, starring brothers Prithviraj and Indrajith, is directed by ad-maker-turned-director V.K. Prakash. Bhavana and Chhaya Singh are the heroines.
"Taskaraveeran": This stylish film also stars Mammootty and Nayanthara.Director duo Pramod-Pappan has found the right formula for success.
"Kochi Rajavu": Dileep has again found his footing in the box-office. His pairing with Kavya Madhavan repeats its magic in this film directed by Johnny Antony.
"Ottananayam": Debutant director Suresh Kannan has come out with a novel subject about street beggars. Youngster Dinu Dennis and Priyamani star in the film.
