Mammootty to sell rice for Ranjith

Cochin, June.14 (NR): The Mammootty - Ranjith team is getting ready to repeat their magic in their new film 'Pranchiyettan and the Saint'.

Mammootty would play a rice merchant in the film who is based in Thrissur. 'Pranchiyettan and the Saint' would also have Innocent in a major role.

The film would be a satirical comedy on the lines of Ranjith's earlier creations like 'Paavakoothu' and 'Nagarangalil Chennu Raapaarkaam'.

The last time the actor and the director came together was for 'Palery Manickyam' the much acclaimed film that had swept the State Film Awards as well.
