Mammootty turns author

Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 5 (IANS) Malayalam star Mammootty has turned an author with "Kaazhchappaadu" (Viewpoint), a compilation of his published articles on social issues and his experiences.

Speaking at a function to release the book in Thrissur, Mammootty said: "I always wanted to be an author. When I could not become one, I turned into an actor. In my book, I am both the hero and the villain."
