Mammooty in V.M Vinu tearjerker

Thiruvanthapuram, Nov 14 (IANS): After giving actor Mohanlal a new lease of life with the Malayalam tearjerker "Balettan", director V.M. Vinu is ready to do the same for Mammooty.

Returning to the ordinary roles that he had played in his early career, Mammooty will play the elder brother in Vinu's latest film, "Vesham".

Vinu hopes to recapture the emotional intensity of "Balletan", which combined several elements from Mohanlal's successful films.

The film also stars three heroines, Gopika, Sindhu Menon and Mohini.
