Mass resignation in MACTA

Cochin, Nov.7 (NR): There was a mass resignation in MACTA under the leadership of director Baiju Kottarakkara yesterday. They resigned in protest to the affiliation of MACTA with AITUC.

In a press conference, the members who resigned alleged that the autocracy of the MACTA president Vinayan has reached a point where the employees were being denied their rights.

Vinayan however, had a different story to tell. He said that the resignation was a conspiracy against him, and also made clear that MACTA would go ahead with its decisions.
