Meena plays central character in Kaavyam

Meena is to do the key role in Kaavyam, to be directed by Aneesh Verma and Santhosh, both debutantes. The film will be produced by Saji Kadambazhippuram and Rashi Chelakkara under the banner of Sai Baba Films. It is heard that actor Manoj K. Jayan, who has not done the lead role for quite some time and had been doing strong supporting roles for the past few years, will play the hero opposite Meena.

It is for the first time that Manoj K. Jayan and Meena, both active in Malayalam as well as Tamil, would be acting opposite each other. The film will also feature in the cast Nedumudi Venu, Saikumar, Vijayaraghavan, Jeeja Surendran, Ponnamma etc. More details about the film's theme and about the others behind the venture are yet to be divulged.
