Meera plagued by yet another controversy

For Meera Jasmine, controversy is nothing new at all. She has been courting all kinds of controversies ever since she entered films. And the latest in the series has to do with her 'Thyroid' gland.

Meera, who is getting busier in Tamil, was reportedly surprised to find a section of the media coming up with reports that she was suffering from 'Thyroid' ailment and was hence regularly late in reporting for shoot.

The reports went on to say that she was able to get up only at 10 in the morning due to this 'ailment' and her being late caused many directors to be rather harsh with her, and with good reason. Now the actress has come up denying the reports with all vehemence, dismissing all this talk as baseless. She has even stated that these rumours were part of attempts to defame her and to harm her career, which is in fact going smooth. She also rubbished rumors that she was regularly late for shoot, causing inconvenience to directors and producers.
