Mohanlal as Campus Romeo

Shooting of College Kumaaran has commenced in Thiruvananthapuram. The film, which has Mohanlal in the lead, is being produced by Bensy Martin under the Fairy Queen Productions banner, and is being directed by Thulasidas.

Vimala Raman plays the female lead. Others in the cast include Balachandra Menon, Nedumudi Venu, Janardhanan, Siddique, Risa Bava, Babu Namboothiri, Saikumar, Vijayaraghavan, Saiju Kurup, Mukundan, Baiju, Arun, Manka Mahesh, Shamna, Shruthi etc. The story and script for the film is provided by Suresh Poduval. Music is by Ouseppachan. Lyrics for the songs are penned by Shibu Chakravarthy. Venugopal wields the camera. The film will be distributed by Emil & Eric.
