Mohanlal awarded Thikkurissi Puraskaram

Cochin, Sep.29 (NR): Megastar Mohanlal has been awarded the Thikkurissi Puraskaram for his contributions to cinema.

The award has been instituted by Thikkurissi Foundation.

The award jury said that they were honoring Mohanlal with the award, taking into consideration not just his contributions to Malayalam cinema, but to Indian cinema as a whole.

Mohanlal would receive the award at Thiruvananthapuram at a function to be held during the last week of December.
