Mohanlal out of Vishal Bharadwaj's 'Seven Husbands'?

Cochin, Mar.22 (NR): Fans of Megastar Mohanlal were overjoyed on hearing a few months back, that the actor would be acting in 'Seven Husbands' to be directed by Bollywood director Vishal Bharadwaj.

Later it was reported in several media that Mohanlal would be playing the role of Priyanka Chopra's husband in the film. It was also reported that Vishal Bharadwaj had met up with the actor in Kochi, after which Mohanlal had agreed to do the role.

However now it seems that Mohanlal would no longer be a part of 'Seven Husbands'. Vishal Bharadwaj's film would instead have Naseerudeen Shah doing the role of Priyanka's eldest husband. The other actors who would be essaying the roles of the other husbands would be Neil Nitin Mukesh, Irfan Khan, John Abraham, Anu Kapoor, Vivan Shah and a Russian actor.

Its not yet clear why Mohanlal has not been included in the final cast of the film. Whatever be the reason, admirers of the actor would be disappointed that they missed an opportunity to see yet another brilliant performance from him, directed by one of the most promising directors in the country!
