
'Mummy and Me' starts at Peerumedu
Jan 1, 2010 NRPeerumedu, Jan.2 (NR): The shooting of 'Mummy and Me' being directed by Jithu Jospeh has commenced at Peerumedu. The director has chosen the high-range location since he wants the lingering mist to create a particular mood for the film.
Archana Kavi plays Jewel, a college goer in the film, and has been paired with Kunchacko Boban who plays Rahul, her college mate and family friend.
Jithu's film attempts to take a look at the generation gap that exisits between Jewel and her mother Clara. Clara would be played by Urvashi.
Mukesh, Lalu Alex, Shari, Arun, Firoz, and Sudheesh have been cast in supporting roles.
The film has been scripted by the director himself. Vayalar Sharath Chandra Verma has penned the lyrics, set to tune by newcomer Sajo Jose. The cinematography is by Vipin Chandran, and editing by Sajan.
The film being produced by Joy Thomas under the banner of Jithin Arts would be a Maxlab Release.
