Nadiya Moithu to play Mammootty's twin

Cochin, Aug.22 (NR): Nadiya Moithu, who had won over the hearts of film goers years back with her performance in 'Nokkeththadoorathu Kannumnattu' and had then gone on to do many more films in Malayalam and Tamil, had made a comeback in Tamil with a bang in 'M. Kumaran s/o Mahalakshmi'. Now, she is all set to make a comeback in Malayalam too, playing twin sister to Mammootty.

There were reports earlier that she would be acting in V.M. Vinu's 'Makante Achchan', but that didn't happen. Now, Nadiya is reportedly all set to play twin sister to Mammootty in 'Doubles', to be directed by debutant Sohan Seenu Lal.

Sohan Seenu Lal, who had earlier been an associate to Siddique and Shafi, was earlier known as Sohan Lal and has now changed his name to Sohan Seenu Lal. (There is another Sohanlal who had directed 'Orkkuka Vallappozhum'). 'Doubles' will feature script by the Sachi-Sethu duo, who had scripted the hit movie 'Chocolate'. The heroine is yet to be finalized. Tamil music director James Vasanthan will be in charge of the music.
