Nayanthara in Tamil

After Meera Jasmine and Navya Nair, one more Malayali actress is entering Tamil film. She is the tall, beautiful, 19-year-old Nayanthara.

Nayanthara made her debut in Kerala with Sathyan Anthikad's "Manassinakkare". Though the film made headlines primarily as the comeback film for actress Sheela, Nayanthara also stood out in the film.

The huge commercial success of "Manassinakkare" also helped her career in a big way.

Then came her second film, "Vismayathumbath" by Fazil, with none other than Mohanlal playing the lead role against her. Although the film did not fare well at the box office, Nayanthara has become a hot property in Kerala film industry.

She plans to make her debut in Tamil with director Hari's next film, whose "Saami" has been one of the biggest hits in recent times.
