'Orkkuka Vallappozhum' rolls

Orkkuka Vallappozhum, which has Thilakan playing the central role, starts rolling, in the hill tracts of Kuttikaanam.

Directed by debutante Sohanlal, the film has Thilakan playing a seventy year old man named Sethumadhavan, whose memories take him to the past, his innocent past. His memories start from the time he drives to an old bungalow in the high ranges.

Debutante actress Shilpabala does the female lead role, while the cast also includes Jagadeesh, Rejith Menon, Krishnachandran, Meera Vasudev, Baby Malavika, Master Dhananjay, Chali Pala etc.

Produced by Vinu Y.S. under the banner of God's Own Moviz, Orkkuka Vallappozhum has lyrics penned by Gireesh Puthencherry and Late P. Bhaskaran and set to tune by M. Jayachandran.

M.J. Radhakrishnan is in charge of cinematography for the film, which features script by the director himself.
