Padmapriya- Lucky indeed!

Padmapriya, the Bangalore-based management professional who made her entry into films with the Blessy-directed Kaazhcha, has become one of the luckiest heroines in Malayalam today.

Last year she had some very notable releases like Vadakkumnaathan, Karuththapakshikal, Ashwaroodhan, Bhargavacharitham Moonaam Khandan, Yes Your Honour etc. She has had the fortune of acting opposite almost all the leading stars including the superstars and also walked away with most of the private awards, as well as the State Award for the second best actress.

And now, Padmapriya is all set to do some very big and notable films. The hot news is that she has been chosen to act opposite Mohanlal in the film to be directed by the maestro Adoor Gopalakrishnan himself. She has also been chosen to act in Pazhassi Raja, the film to be directed by Hariharan and featuring script by M.T.Vasudevan Nair, with Mammootty in lead role. It's also reported that she is being considered for some very interesting commercial ventures too in 2007. Good going, Padma!
