Padmarajan's 'Innale' to be remade into Hindi

Cochin, Apr.18 (NR): 'Innale', that yesteryear classic Malayalam film directed by Padmarajan would be remade into Hindi as 'Yesterday'.

'Innale' tells a heart rending story of a young girl by the name of Gouri who loses her memory in an accident. She falls in love with Sharath and starts dreaming of a new life when her past life and her husband Narendran catch up with her.

Shobhana was seen in the role of Gouri, while Suresh Gopi played the husband and Jayaram the lover. It was released in 1989 and was both a critical and commercial success.

Ajoy Verma, a Malayali director is behind this project. It is rumored that the role done by Suresh Gopi would be essayed by none other than Salman Khan. Vidya Balan or Asin would be the heroine.
