'Padmasree Bharath Dr. Saroj Kumar' is not a sequel!

Cochin, Oct.18 (NR): Ever since news regarding a film titled 'Padmasree Bharath Dr. Saroj Kumar', had started streaming in, it was assumed that the film would be a sequel to the super hit 'Udayanaanu Thaaram'.

The director of the film Sajin Raghavan has however clarified that this is no sequel. "It's true that that a few characters from 'Udayanaanu Thaaram' takes the story forward in 'Padmasree Bharath Dr. Saroj Kumar'. But Udayabhanu, the character played by Mohanlal is not there in the film," says Sajin.

Sreenivasan himself has scripted the film that has Mamta Mohandas playing the heroine.

The shoot of the film is currently on at locations near Vaikom. The film is being produced by Vaishakha Rajan under the banner of Vaishakha Productions. Click the Movie button below for more info:
