Parvathy Omanakkuttan to debut in Tamil

Cochin, Sep.29 (NR): Parvathy Omanakkuttan, the Malayali Miss World, who was expected to make her debut in films through the Mohanlal film 'Kandahar' would finally start her career in the South Indian film industry with a Tamil film.

Parvathy has signed up as the female lead in Ajith's new film 'Billa - 2', which is a sequel to his own hit film 'Billa'.

Billa- 2 had Huma Qureshi as the heroine, who backed out of the project when the Goan schedule of the film was postponed indefinitely. Parvathy had walked into the project instead of Huma.

Parvathy had earlier made her debut in Bollywood through the Hindi film 'United 6'.

Let's hope 'Billa - 2'opens up plenty of opportunities for Parvathy. Here is wishing the actress the very best!
