Playback singer Sainoj passes away

Cochin, Nov.22 (NR): Young playback singer Sainoj passed away today afternoon at Ernakulam Medical Trust Hospital.

The singer had been under treatment for blood cancer for a long time.

Sainoj had emerged into the limelight, when he won the 'Gandharva Sangeetham' contest at the Kairali Channel a few years ago.

He had later on ventured into playback singing also, and made his debut in the Vinayan directed 'War and Love'. His song in the Jayasurya starrer 'Ivar Vivahitharayal', 'Enikku paadaaanoru...' was a chart buster. The last film that he had sung for was Viji Thampy's 'Chemistry' that released last week.
