Police case registered against Kalabhavan Mani

Chalakkudy, Dec.26 (NR): The Chalakkudy police have registered a case against actor Kalabhavan Mani.

This action against the actor has been taken on the basis of a petition filed by a policeman by the name of Umesh.

The petitioner has alleged that he was admitted to a hospital following a scuffle that ensued while Kalabhavan Mani was involved in controlling the traffic during a Kaavadi procession of a local temple.

It has also been alleged that the police had to intervene following the traffic being blocked because of the procession. However, a few local people had disagreed to cooperate.
