Police to conduct probe on Sreenath's demise

Cochin, Apr.28 (NR): Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan has said that the police would conduct a probe into actor Sreenath's demise.

Sreenath was found dead in a hotel room at Kothamangalam on the 23rd. His wrist was found to be slashed. He was there to shoot for the film 'Shikar'.

Later Sreenath's family members had alleged that the actor's death was not a suicide as it was believed first.

Today they met the Home Minister in this regard, who assured them that necessary action would be taken. The Home Minister later said that he had handed over the complaint to the DGP.
