Ponnamma to do the lead in 'Meghatheertham'

Kaviyoor Ponnamma, best known as Mohanlal's 'on-screen mother', is a veteran actress who has been in Malayalam Cinema for over four decades. The actress who has portrayed characters of all shades has been an integral part of all kinds of films and has also been active on television. Now, the much loved actress is all set to do the key role in a musical, titled Meghatheertham.

The film, which will be directed by debutante Unnikrishnan, will be a full-fledged musical and will have in key roles, other than Kaviyoor Ponnamma, Padmapriya, Jagathy Sreekumar, Saikumar, Captain Raju etc. Veteran music composer Dakshinamoorthy will do a cameo in the film, which will also feature singer Hariharan in yet another cameo. Sharreth, who is once again getting busy in Mollywood, will compose the music for Meghatheertham.
