Pooja of 'Anwar' held at Kochi

Cochin, Jan.5 (NR): The Pooja function of Amal Neerad's forthcoming film 'Anwar' was held today at Kochi.

'Anwar' has youth icon Prithviraj in the lead role. Prithvi would don the role of an underworld gangster in the film, that would have Mamta Mohandas opposite him. National Award winning actor Prakash Raj would play the villain in the film.

Scripted by the director himself, 'Anwar' is expected to have mind boggling action sequences and should hopefully propel Prithviraj into the Action Superhero slot.

The shooting of the film would commence in February in Kochi. Produced under the banner of Red Carpet films by Rajesh Zacharia, 'Anwar' is eagerly anticipated by film lovers in the state.
