Poorna to be 'Chattakkari'

Cochin, Jan.25 (NR): Finally the news is out. Poorna aka Shamna Kasim would do the title role in Revathy Kalamandir's 'Chattakkari'.

Initially it was rumored that Mythili would do the lead role in the film. Then it was reported that Nithya Menon would do the role instead. However, with Nithya also having walked out of the film, the search for the heroine of the film was on in full swing.

Now, it seems that Poorna has walked into the project, that should be her first major film in Malayalam.

Poorna has done some small roles in films like 'College Kumaran' and 'Flash', but hasn't been seen in a lead role in a Malayalam film as yet. Click the Movie button below for more info:
