Poornasri suffers minor injuries in car accident

Cochin, Jan.29 (NR): Poornasri Haridas, the 11 year old singer who shot to fame after singing the 'Annarakanna Vaa..' song from 'Bhramaram' suffered minor injuries in a car accident yesterday night.

She was returning after a program at Thrissur yesterday night, when her car collided against a parked lorry at Aluva near midnight. Her mother has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit, after suffering from a head injury.

Poornasri has broken her arm, and hospital authorities said that she might need a minor surgery.

Poornasri is a fifth standard student at Bhavans Vidyalaya.
