Prithvi all set to be Chirakkal Kelu Nair

Cochi, Aug.18 (NR): Prithviraj would start the shoot of his film 'Urumi' to be directed by Santhosh Sivan soon.


Prithvi would play Chirakkal Kelu Nair, a character from the 16th century. He is the head leader of a group of valiant men who plan to assassinate Vasco da Gama who arrived at Kerala in 1498.


Genelia D Souza is the heroine and plays a Portugese princess in the film. Vidya Balan would also be doing a cameo.


Sankar Ramakrishnan, who had directed the highly promising 'Island Express' in the 'Kerala Cafe' anthology would be scripting the film. 'Urumi' would be jointly produced by Prithviraj, Santhosh Sivan and Shaji Nadesan.
