Prithvi in Shyamaprasad's 'Rithu'

If reports are to be believed, it's Prithviraj who is to do the lead role in the next film to be directed by acclaimed filmmaker Shyamaprasad, whose last film was the Mammootty-Meera Jasmine-Narein starrer Ore Kadal.

Prithviraj will be doing the lead role in Shyamaprasad's Rithu, which will be produced by Rajan.

It must be remembered that this is not the first time that Prithviraj and Shyamaprasad are teaming up. They had earlier come together on the sets of Akale - Shyamaprasad's adaptation of Tennessee Williams' The Glass Menagerie.

Rithu, to be scripted by Joshua Newton, will tell the story of three young friends and will focus on the youth of today. More details regarding the theme, cast etc are awaited.
