Prithvi to remake 'Vilkanundu Swapnangal'?

Cochin, Jan.8 (NR): Several years ago Sukumaran had acted in 'Vilkanundu Swapnangal' that was directed by Azad and scripted by M T Vasudevan Nair.

Now with Lal Jose remaking 'Neelathamara', several other remakes are in the offing. The latest buzz is that youth icon Prithviraj would like to remake 'Vilkanundu Swapnangal'.

'Vilkanundu Swapnangal' was released on May 16, 1980 and was a runaway hit. It had also starred Sudheer, Nellikkode Bhaskaran, Sreevidya and Jalaja. Mammootty had appeared in a role in the film as well.

Prithvi holds 'Vilkanundu Swapnangal' close to his heart and feels its the best film that his father had acted in. He said that he is planning to discuss it with MT some time soon. He also said that if one of his father's films would be remade, it should be 'Vilkanundu Swapnangal'.
