Prithviraj is to do the Lead Role in Ranjith's Film

Prithviraj is to do the lead role in Ranjith's forthcoming film, which has been titled Thirakatha. (It should be remembered that Prithviraj had made his acting debut with Ranjith's Nandanam).

To be produced jointly by Capitol Theatres and Varnachitra, Thirakatha will have Priyamani as the heroine. Priyamani had made her debut in Malayalam opposite Prithviraj in Satyam.

The film will also have Ajmal Ameer in a key role. Ajmal Ameer, who had made his debut with Pranayakaalam was recently seen in a central role in the Tamil film Anjaathe. The cast will include many other popular actors too. Songs by Rafeeque Ahmed will be set to tune by Sharath, while M.J. Radhakrishnan will crank the camera. The film will start rolling in the first week of May in Thiruvananthapuram.
