Priyadarshan, who has specialized in remaking old time Malayalam hits in Hindi, is reportedly all set to remake another hit Malayalam movie in Hindi. The director, who has just come out with Bhool Bhulaiyya, the Hindi version of the Fazil-directed Manichitrathazhu, is reportedly planning to come up next with the Hindi version of Ishtam, which was directed by Sibi Malayil and which had Dileep and Navya Nair in lead roles.

While it is learnt that in the Hindi version Akshay Kumar would play the lead character that was played by Dileep in the original, it is yet to be known who would be playing the female lead. Anyhow it is reported that Malayalam actor P. Sreekumar, who recently hogged the limelight by playing the title role in AKG, will make his entry into Bollywood by playing the hero's father, the role played in the original by Nedumudi Venu. The film, the title of which is yet to be announced, will start rolling by December.
