Priyamani back in Malayalam with a bang!

National award winning actress Priyamani, who had made her debut in Malayalam with the Vinayan-directed Prithviraj-starrer Sathyam, is back again in Malayalam, with two films.

The first and the more important of the two is Thirakatha, set to be release this Onam. Directed by Ranjith, the film has Prithviraj and Samvritha Sunil as the other key players.

The film has the world of cinema as the backdrop and Priyamani plays the role of an actress named Malavika in the film. The character is reportedly central to the theme of the film, which is being produced under the banner of Varnachitra Big Screen and Capitol Theatre.

The other film in which Priyamani is going to act will be Sabarimala Sree Ayyappan, a Malayalam-Tamil bilingual directed by Sasi Mohan.

In the film which will have Kaushik Babu as Lord Ayyappa, Priyamani will share screen space with Mamta Mohandas, Biju Menon, Mohini etc. More details about this venture are awaited.
