Punathil Kunjabdulla on a tirade against the superstars

Cochin, Feb.22 (NR): Sukumar Azhikode has got company on his verbal onslaught against the superstars.

Azhikode found a supporter in renowned novelist Punathil Kunjabdulla, who said that Thilakan is one of the most distinguished actors in the world, and before him Mammootty and Mohanlal are nothing.

Both of them were participating in a literary meeting organized by the Bhashaposhini.

Thilakan is an actor of international standards. Nobody holds the right to ban Thilakan from the industry. Mammootty and Mohanlal are mere stars who are nothing when compared to Thilakan, Kunjabdulla said.

Azhikode meanwhile said that he had come across the comments of director Ranjith through the media, but refused to comment on it. He hoped that the ban on Thilakan would be lifted soon, and said that they would wait for a few days before deciding what to do next.
