Raja Ravi Varma's art makes song number one favourite

Kochi, Nov 18 (IANS) The music of Santosh Sivan's supernatural thriller "Ananthabhadram" is ruling the roost. In one of the songs Sivan has paid a tribute to Raja Ravi Varma by using his paintings as a motif.


The top five Malayalam songs are:


1. "Pinakkamano": Film: "Ananthabhadram". Music: M.G. Radhakrishnan. Lyrics: Girish Puthenchery. Singers: M.G. Sreekumar and Manjari.


The paintings of Raja Ravi Varma form the motif of this song, for which art director Sunil Babu is getting a lot of praise.


2. "Ramzan Nilavotha": Film: "Boyy Friennd" Music: M. Jayachandran. Lyrics: Kaithapram. Singer: K.J. Yesudas.


The release of this film may have been delayed, but its music continues to be popular.


3. "Malamalooya": Film: "Ananthabhadram". Music: M.G. Radhakrishnan. Lyrics: Gireesh Puthenchery. Singer: Kalabhavan Mani.


The song aims at entertaining the masses and succeeds in doing so.


4. "Omane": Film: "Boy Friend". Music: M. Jayachandran. Lyrics: R.K. Damodaran. Singers: Sujatha and Nishad.


The song depicts mother-child love.
